About International School Community
International School Community offers a place to meet, interact, share, and communicate with other members. Our community is a diverse place made up of international educators from all over the world with different opinions, backgrounds, and beliefs. The guidelines documented here have been devised to promote respect within our user base and maintain a level of experience that is enjoyable and satisfactory for everyone.
General Guidelines
As a member of our community, we request that you abide by the International School Community Community Guidelines and our Terms of Use. The Community Guidelines and Terms of Use apply to all areas of the International School Community site and all services offered to members as part of their membership. Members who violate the Guidelines or our Terms of Use may have the use of their International School Community account interrupted, suspended or terminated without notice or refund.
Do's
- Be nice to others: Be polite and respectful in your interactions. Agree to disagree if things get heated, and avoid passing judgment, blame, shame or guilt onto others.
- Own your statements: You are responsible for anything you say or post. Use "I" statements for sharing thoughts, opinions, and ideas.
- Enjoy Int'l School Community! Make new friends, connect, share, participate and have fun!
- Respect others' property and privacy: Respect copyright and only post content you have permission to share.
- Stay on topic: Keep your content relevant to the section you are posting in.
- Follow the rules: Read and follow any additional rules listed in each section.
- Protect your privacy and assets: Do not share sensitive personal information or send money to people you only know online. Be cautious and report suspicious activity.
Don'ts
- Don't harass others: Do not use the site to stalk, harass, embarrass or abuse other users, or post personal information about others.
- Don't post objectionable content: Do not upload or share unlawful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or otherwise objectionable content.
- Don't spam: Do not use the site for solicitations, advertising, or commercial purposes.
- Don't impersonate: Do not misrepresent your affiliation or impersonate anyone else.
